The pair were Incubating along with , another cock Cockatiel, making them a trio.

The parents have began started plucking the baby, because she was developing so slowly.

The baby had a beautiful bright yellow crest just like Teasel and brilliant yellow pearling on her shoulders.

'Sweety' as I named her, sadly died on the 23rd December 2005. She had fledged but couldn't fly properly as her parent's had plucked her so excessively. I kept putting her back in the nest but her parents kept throwing her out. They subsequently left her on the floor (I think they got fed up with her) and she died overnight. I was devastated. Looking back, I should have taken her for hand-rearing, so I was at fault. Sweety was a very special little Cockatiel (you just know when you've got an extra special little one) and she was a great loss.
