Both were thrown out of the nest and had to be hand-reared. Elder survived but her brother Rypley a Fawn Pied, died at 5 weeks of age after losing the co-cordination of his legs due to cerebral haemorrhages from when he was thrown 5' from the nest.

Ash was removed from the aviary as soon as he had weaned.

Very devoted pair who are brilliant parents.

1 was dead in shell: tried to hatch.

I noticed the dead-in-shell squab trying to hatch and helped it out fo the shell, but he was pouring with blood as his abdomen hadn't fully formed & his intestines were spilling out.
