but has no show of pin feathers. It was being being well
fed and kept warm. At 14 days old he was still only 2"
in length. He sadly died aged 34 days old, still with only
the slightest emergance of pin feather on his wings and
crest. He was going to be a Pied

as a proven pair with unknown age or splits.
Extremely
devoted, excellent parents - they both sit in the nest all
the time and all chicks are fed, even the smallest one.
Strangely
enough, 2 unbreeding adult cocks (Ice and Raine) helped
Prince and Princess feed the chicks once they had fledged.

I
had to take the Normal Grey hen to the vet when she was
7 days old, due to a prolapsed and bleeding cloaca. The
vet told me to see how it goes. This seems to have righted
itself now though it still had a bit of a sore bottom up
until fledgling.
