This is the first ever clutch for this young pair, & they have proved to be excellent, devoted parents. The pair are very bonded & constantly feed & preen each other. All fledglings were sold to excellent aviary homes.

Scarlet incubated well over a week past hatch date and all eggs failed to hatch - the budgie eggs proved to be clear whilst Scarlet's eggs were dead in shell. The pair have decided not to go to nest again this season. |
